Deye Hybrid AC/DC Solar Air Conditioner
The Deye Hybrid AC/DC Solar Air Conditioner is designed to reduce air-conditioning electricity costs by using dedicated solar panels during the day.
Under suitable sunlight conditions, the air conditioner can operate partly or entirely from solar power, providing up to 100% daytime solar operation. No batteries, external inverter or separate solar charge controller are required.
During periods of low solar production or at night, the system automatically uses AC grid power to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures.

The recommended solar-panel configuration is:
3 to 6 × 330 W solar panels connected in series
The final panel quantity and configuration must be confirmed according to the air-conditioner model, panel voltage, installation conditions and available roof space.

How the Hybrid System Works
During the day, the air conditioner gives priority to power produced by its dedicated solar panels. When solar production is lower than the air conditioner’s demand, the system automatically supplements the required power from the AC grid.
At night, or when there is insufficient sunlight, the unit continues operating from the AC grid as a high-efficiency inverter air conditioner.
This provides reliable cooling throughout the day and night while substantially reducing daytime electricity consumption.
